Hi Imran

As a default, CEA only allows Singaporeans and PRs to be salespersons. They must meet the CEA's registration criteria listed which includes undergoing the real estate salesperson examination to ensure that they are familiar with our local laws.

But, CEA does make some exceptions for foreigners who are interested to be salespersons but they must seek CEA’s preliminary assessment. You will also be required to find the selected Estate agency which will then help to submit your resume with supporting documents to CEA.

For applicants who are not Singapore citizens or Permanent Residents, they must possess at least an Employment Pass(EP) granted by the Ministry of Manpower. If an EP is applied for, the employer which is stated on the EP must be the name of the licensed estate agent through whom they intend to submit their salesperson registration application.

Hope this helps
