I do not think anyone will be able to answer this question.

Currently, transactions has been cooling off. Means lesser movements in the market. However, there are signs that the market is starting to to move towards the end of the year when overseas investors and current investors who has released their assets are looking into good buys in singapore.

Maybe you can track the market closely. When you see transactions increase overnight, you will know that I got it right. Likewise, if you see market slowing down for the next 3 more months, you will start to see some price correction.

As for HDB, I seriously have not seen any difference in the pricing.

Hi Peter,

to be honest, your guess is as good as mine. No one can really time the market. The market can swing either way, at anytime.

But that being said, are you buying for own stay or investment? If you are buying for own stay, then it should not really matter as generally, people who buy for own stay, stay for 10 years and more before actually moving. As interest rates are so low now, it sure beats renting a place.

But if you are buying for investment, even in this hot market, there are still fairly priced units with great upside potential available. You just have to do your homework thoroughly to sniff those out. My humble opinion.
