A gritty neighbourhood sounds like a terrible location for a cafe, but since the gentrification of old Tiong Bahru area with the entry of 40 Hands and Open Door Policy, far flung locations seem like the hip place to be now for artisanal coffee places. You get the drift. Location is King.
