Winning in all their categories, Marga Landmark made a clean sweep of the PropertyGuru Myanmar Property Awards 2017, held on Friday (30 June) at the Sedona Hotel Yangon.
Marga Landmark’s The Central received the most awards – winning Best Condo Development, Best Retail Development, Best Mixed Use Development and Best Universal Design Development, a new award in recognition of a project with a built environment that is most accessible and used by all groups of people regardless of age, size and ability.
Other winners include MAEX (Member of the Dagon Group of Companies) whose Danyingone Fruits, Vegetables & Flowers Wholesale Market won Best Special Commercial Development and Best Golf Development for Dagon Golf City by Royal Sky Company Limited.
Shwe Taung Development Co., Ltd Group CEO Aung Zaw Naing was named 2017 Myanmar Real Estate Personality of the Year by the editors of Property Report magazine in the only award not selected by the judging panel.
Founder and managing director of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards and the Asia Real Estate Summit Terry Blackburn commented that “The contribution that the real estate sector makes to Myanmar’s economic advancement, especially on the heels of the new Myanmar Investment Law, is something that all the developers who were recognised this year should be immensely proud of. We wish them continued success and encouragement to continue producing quality products.”
Winners of PropertyGuru Myanmar Property Awards 2017 will now compete in the seventh annual PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards to be held in Singapore on 7-8 November.
