Good morning,

There will not be seller stamp duty since you held the property for more than 4 years. Buyer stamp duty will be approx 8%, if you buy the next property after selling the current one.

Andrew : Ivan understood there's urgency to sell my private property too within the given timeframe, provided me with assurance and solutions. When the sale of my private property commenced, it was during the Covid-19 pandemic period; whereby, only 2 unique visitors were allowed to view the property on any given day. You need not pay Seller Stamp Duty, as you had held the property since 2009.

As a SPR, you will incur Additional Buyer Stamp Duty (ABSD) of 5%, on top of the normal Buyer Stamp Duty (BSD) of approximately 3-4%, depending on the quantum of your purchase.
