I am currently having a hdb and a property in jb and I wanna buy a private condo
The and is under second property or third property
And my hdb is fully paid but malaysian property is still under malaysian bank loan

Hi Sir/ Mdm,

it will consider as second residential property in Singapore if you wish to purchase a private property in Singapore.

Do take note these cooling measures will be applicable:

1) 12% ABSD as Singaporean
2) need to set aside basic retirement sum of $85.5k in your CPF OA + SA first before you can utilise the excess OA in the purchase.

Good day sir / madam.

If you are singaporean , you will have to pay extra 12% ABSD if you keep your hdb and buy your singaporea condo , this singapore condo will be counted as your second local residential property , the overseas or malaysian property is irrelevant in this circumstances . Alternatively save the extra 12% ABSD by selling your hdb if you want to buy the singapore condo .

If you are not singaporean , for example if you are a permanent resident PR , you cannot choose to keep both hdb and condo eventually , meaning if you buy a singapore condo , you will have to sell your hdb latest within 6months after collecting key to your condo.
