Hi,

Congratulations on your new milestone. If you are unsure about the process, perhaps you might want to engage an agent to walk you through the process and see things to completion. The value you get will offset the fees significantly as I have worked with young couples before and be able to advise from experience.

May I have more info and requirements about your plans so to make better recommendations? Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans.

Warm Regards,

Hi Zijian,

Congrats on your marriage! Well, everybody has a first time. It must be an exciting time for you and your spouse, as both of you look for your love nest.

The first thing you must ask yourself is, what is your affordability level? Have you checked with a banker on how much you can loan?

With the budget worked out, you can decide whether buying a HDB or a private condo is more suited for you. Do consider the upside potential of the property in the future too.

Next, you should consider the location. Are you planning to stay near either one of your parents' house? Or somewhere near your workplace?

Lastly, after deciding on the above, you can narrow down into the specification of the units you're looking at. Things like floor level, unit condition, etc and even who will be your neighbors will be into consideration at this point.

Should you need any further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you in the current market.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Robbie Chen

Hi there,

Thanks for your query!

Perhaps we could engage in an interactive discussion to derive more information on your requirements and objectives, so that I can assist in making an informed decision. As a first time buyer, you may be faced with a couple of complex issues; example- use of CPF et. As such, you may wish to work alongside a professional who will guide you step by step and ensure you are not short changed in any case. Your welfare is protected being represented. Sure you incur a slightly marginal cost, however, think about the thousands of dollars you can possibly save with the due diligence and negotiation skills of your agent. With possession to the latest and recent sales transactions in the block and vicinity and indicative valuations, you are equipped with the up to date information to press for your price. It is an one time investment with undoubtedly continuous returns having tapped into the weak market to leverage and obtain the best priced unit.

As a rule of thumb, it is always best to get your finances assured and secured to conduct the search appropriately. Perhaps I can link you to my banker who will assist you with the loan at no cost. I would also illustrate a financial cash computations/projections and financial breakdown calculations to assess which residential options will best suit your interest best.

Look forward to your reply!

Morning Zijian,

Since there is a need for you to purchase a property as your matrimonial home and we do not know you requirement and preference, it would be tough for any of us to guide you the necessary tips. What most buyers would look out for are: upgrading requirement / maintenance fee, balance lease of property, budget and infrastructure.

Do feel free to contact me should you require additional assistance.
