Hi,

You should be under Public Scheme. 1st timer grants are as follow:
1) Family Grant:
SC/SC: $50k (2~4-rm). $40k (5 or bigger)
SC/SPC: $40k (2~4-rm), $30k (5 or bigger)
2) Enhanced CPF Housing Grant: Household income of less than $9k can receive at least $5k, up to a maximum of $80. This shall depend on your household income.
You may see detail in this web link: https://www.hdb.gov.sg/cs/infoweb/residential/buying-a-flat/resale/financing/cpf-housing-grants/firsttimer-applicants
3) Proximity: You are entitled to this because this is meant for extended family. That is to prove there is 2 or more family staying together.

If you are a combination of 1st/2nd timer, grants would be as follow:
A) Half-Housing Grant: This is only meant for couples thus not eligible.
B) Enhanced CPF Housing Grant: Grant amount is half of (2)
C) Proximity Grant: Same as (3)

Hi Maam,

In order to advise further, I will need more details in regards to the profile of you and your mother. If either you or your mother have bought a subsidised in the past, unfortunately you are unable to get any grants except for PHG grant. (I will provide further details if you can whatsapp me). The fact that you did not have care and control of your only son is a disadvantage as you will not be able to enjoy any first timer grant even if you have not purchased any flat in the past as you have not reached 35 years of age to enjoy singles grant neither could you form a family nucleus with your son in order for you to benefit from the 1st timer grant. I do specialised in HDB transactions. Do contact me at 93375051  for a free and non obligatory consultation on this.
