Yes definitely. In fact in terms of rental yield, Geylang property is one of the highest. Reason being it is a City Fringe area where it is just mins to Raffles and Orchard. What's more, the property is a Freehold.

Why Geylang of all locations? And what is the portfolio of investment you are working on in terms of financing? A 2nd residential property will require you to cough out ABSD in cash and properties in Geylang typically may have a smaller pool of buyers due to the existing activities over in the estate, therefore most buyers are like yourself as an investor. From my experience, investors usually do not pay good price for their purchase.
