Hi,
Seeking expert opinions here. I am contemplating if I should or have the ability to get into a private condo. Looking at a 3 bedder. I think I should be able to afforad a 2mil condo.
Age: 46 / Divorced
CPF OA: 300K
Resale HDB Bank Loan (Outstanding): $263k / 1.5 years to MOP [7year old HDB in the west]
Monthly disposable Income: ~10-$12k (after expenses)
Cash on hand: Say about $350k
No other loan on-hand
Dont intend to incur ABSD so I will want to upgrade by selling my HDB. Wll it be too tight considering single income?
I have a gf and we intend to get married in a few years time perhaps. She is also holding onto a HDB (3-RM) which will MOP in 3.5 years. Not adding her into the equation for now but she can be a "back up" if monthly repayment is concern if needed. (Eg rent out her HDB after MOP)
Any thoughts is appreciated.
