Hi,
Our contract is ending soon as a tenant. Our renewal has been rejected by HDB due to quota. We already managed to find a new place to move out. If we will just stay for few days after the contract ends in the current house, should we still need to pay for another 1 month? As we are still waiting for the move in date for the new flat. Owner and agent says that they will return the balance after they computed the pro rate. And also, they still have our 1 month deposit. I can see that there is no point of paying the entire month and we can just pay the few days that we will stay.
Hopefully anyone can enlightened me on this.
