Hi, I'm 32, Singaporean, single, staying with both parents in HDB. Currently have 70k in OA, 50k cash. Gross income abt 52k per year now. Planning financially, to get a HDB flat in 3yrs time. So my question 1) if I stay single until 35, under singlehood scheme BTO, do I need a 2nd occupant name & is there any income ceiling? 2) what is the different between BTO and sales of balance flat? 3) Does sale of balance flat shorten the time to get key? And higher chances of getting a unit? 4) if I happened to get marry before that, and combine income exceed 10k, is buying resale flat the only option? Or is there other option like getting a 5-rm with higher income ceiling? 5) and in case I'm getting a singlehood BTO, for a bank/HDB loan, is there a minimum loan amt? As my CPF alone by then (est 100k) can already service 80-90% of the price.
