Yes, you can continue keeping your private property and rent it out.

There is no ABSD payable.

For non-owner occupied property tax rate it will be as follows:

Annual value Property tax rate from 1st January 2015
First $30,000 10%
Next $15,000 12%
Next $15,000 14%
Next $15,000 16%
Next $15,000 18%
AV in excess of $90,000 20%

You need not pay higher ABSD once you become foreigner status as ABSD is only calculated and payable at point of purchase.

Yes you can keep and rent out the condo. For non owner occupied residential property, the property tax is higher at 10% of Annual Value.

I'm pleased to inform you that you need not pay any extra ABSD for your existing condo, since you already own it.

You are also eligible to keep and rent out your condo while you're not in Singapore. There is no additional tax as Stamp Duty is usually borne by the Tenant. You may incur higher property tax rate (10% for residential property) though, as it is deemed to be a "non-owner occupied" property.

You have paid your ABSD when you purchase condominium.

You may let out your condominium as a foreign owner. You may text 9620 0827 for a casual chat. We can share with you how we have help "absentee landlords" ie landlord who is not residing in Singapore rent out their condominium.

As an investment property, you will be on a progressive property tax rate which you pay annually.

No you do not have a pay the additional ABSD although non occupier property tax rate of 10% applies if you decide to rent out your condo unit. The non occupier tax rate is based on your unit annual value of your unit (based on how much rent your unit can fetch in the open market). There is no restriction for foreigners renting out their. However do note that you will have to pay a higher property tax (10%) as this is the rate for non-owner occupied units. Not to worry on it. Stamp duty is payable upon exercise of sales and purchase agreement or option to purchase.

IRAS will not charge you further ABSD if you renounce your SPR.

Furthermore be it you are a singaporean, SPR or foreigner, you will still be subject to non occupier property tax of 10%. Fair across the board.
