Hi, I am a Tenant here. Recently the air cond compressor broke down.Landlord require us to replace a brand new set of Daikin air cond c/w FCUs & compressor as we void the agreement that we neglect the servicing period of the air cond. This is ridiculous! In this case, we are thinking to replace it with a second hand one with any brand instead as the clause written as ' tenants to be responsible for the repair and replacement of parts in respect of aircond units installed at the said premises save where the same are caused by neglect of the tenant'. There is no clause stating that we need to replace a brand new one? please advise.
