Are you purchasing for your own stay or purely for investment? If I am put in your position and am looking to be staying here for the next 5years upwards, I would definitely make a purchase if the unit suits me (supposedly for own stay and price protection).
I do have a couple of unit in the range of $1m for sale perhaps I can make some recommendations for you? Do meet up with a banker to find out your loan eligibility as well as cash outlay for the purchase before you make any commitment.
