Dear gurus. I am in the process of renting out my property. Having received an LOI from a tenant seeking a two-year lease, my agent told me that "nowadays" landlords have to pay a two-month commission for that length of lease -- to be shared between the two agents. Is this now common practise? Would you suggest I negotiate to lower the commission?
