Bishan Street 24

Bishan Street 24 is an HDB street located in the town of Bishan. Bishan Planning Area, as defined by Singapore’s Urban Redevelopment authority situated in the Central Region of Singapore, bounded by planning areas of Ang Mo Kio to the north, Toa Payoh to the south and Serangoon to the east. The Bishan New Town sits within this planning area. The town of Bishan is the home to about 63k people and consists of approximately 20k HDB flats as per the 2018 March Census. Even though the prices of property are comparatively higher in the Bishan HDB estate, it is quite popular among the buyers and investors due to its prime location. Also, Bishan was the first in Singapore to depart from the brutalist design seen in the previous HDB towns of the country.

Bishan Street 24 has approximately 25 blocks of HDB flats with postal codes of the region varying from 570264 to 572273. The distinctive and colourful roofs and linkway structures of the town evoke images of "pavilions of green". HDB’s first two 30-storey HDB blocks are in Bishan. The entire town was completed between the year 1992 till 2011. The most popular unit configuration found in the locality of Bishan Street 24 is the 4 bedroom units and 5 bedroom units. There are also some executive units scattered around the area, as Bishan itself has a total of 1500 executive flats.

Travelling in and out of Bishan Street 24 is always a piece of cake given the fact that it is nestled in the heart of a network of roads. One should not worry about transportation as along the entire Bishan Street 24, there are numerous bus stops which remain functional throughout the day.

The nearest stations are Bishan MRT Station, Braddell MRT Station and Marymount MRT Station. Also, private transportation was made easier due to the number of expressways nearby such as Bishan Street 22, Marymount rd, Upper Thompson rd, Lornie Viaduct and Lornie rd.​
