Choa Chu Kang, also spelt as Chua Chu Kang and often abbreviated as CCK, is a planning area and residential town located in north-westernmost part of the West Region of Singapore. The place has evolved from a rural settlement of Chinese immigrants in the early 19th century into a hub of residential complexes, all owing to the efforts of the Housing and Development Board (HDB). Chao Chu Kang has an estimated HDB resident population of 169k spread across the 49k flats that are under the management of HDB.
