The ERA Property Weekend, which showcased the country’s biggest virtual real estate gallery, attracted over 168,000 viewers and potential home buyers during the weekend of 10 and 11 October.

Millennials and Generation X, or those aged between 25 to 44, accounted for a majority of viewers, said ERA Singapore in a statement on Wednesday (14 October).

Official Facebook figures showed that over 168,000 viewers tuned in to the two-day virtual webinars.

“Week on week, there was a 1,600% increase in landing page visits after the ERA Property Weekend 2020 was kick-started – signalling an increasing interest on virtual events and normalising of viewing new launches and show flats online instead of physically,” noted ERA Singapore.

Overall, the digital campaign reached over 431,000 online audiences, while garnering close to 1.2 million impressions. This excluded the potential reach that was generated by news publicity through mainstream media.

The event featured over 140 virtual tours, which enabled home buyers to access various projects island-wide, property market insights from 14 of its industry experts and LytePay loyalty rewards of more than $250,000 for real estate agents.

A total of 16 webinars were presented from 10am to 6pm on both days, with topics ranging from how to “Globalise Your Property Portfolio” in an increasingly flat world, having a “Deal-structuring Framework to Maximise Returns”, to exclusive insider’s tips on property-purchasing for those who are interested in securing elusive GCBs and luxury properties.

The speakers included ERA Chief Executive Officer Jack Chua; Chief Operating Officer, Marcus Chu; and Key Executive Officer, Eugene Lim.

During the property weekend, ERA also offered a special developers’ discounts on selected units, in conjunction with the 10.10 Super Shopping Day.

Loyalty rewards totalling over $250,000 were also given out to ERA real estate agents who intend to cash-out from their LyteMoney business wallet. The rewards included luxury staycations, gold bars, lifestyle vouchers and cash prizes.

“ERA Property Weekend 2020 is Singapore’s largest real estate showcase that empowered home buyers with the ultimate home buying experience by offering them a seamless, one-stop platform for home viewing and in-depth property-related insights,” said Chua.

“This showcase also offers real estate agents who do not currently have access to best-in-class PropTech tools a glimpse into the future of real estate marketing. They can future-proof their real estate career with ERA.”

To help real estate agents embrace digital transformation, ERA is offering subsidies amounting to $1,873.50 per person, which include registration fees, administrative fees and a work kit that comes with business cards, Professional Indemnity Insurance, lanyard and the ERApro mobile applications.

The support package also includes curated programmes to ease newcomers into their new roles, mentorship programmes and access to technological tools that generate professional advice and market insights.
