The new websites and apps leverage AI (artificial intelligence) to recognise behavioural cues and determine the kind of properties and content users are likely to be interested in.

As the technology learns more about each user’s unique needs and preferences, it will provide smarter and more accurate solutions.

Commenting, Bjorn Sprengers, Chief Marketing Officer of PropertyGuru, said: “People’s expectations of exceptional user experience have been shaped in recent years by technology brands. We felt that it was time for the property industry to catch up.”

Hari V. Krishnan, Chief Executive Officer of PropertyGuru, said: “As we look forward to the next decade, we recognise that people not only want the home finding and buying processes to be simpler and faster, but also expect highly-customised solutions to meet their needs and challenges.”

He added: “This brand refresh marks PropertyGuru’s transformation into a full-fledged tech brand.”

The brand refresh will be rolled out across the group’s four markets in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand throughout the year.

Started 10 years ago, PropertyGuru has been voted by consumers as ‘Asia’s Most Influential Brand for Online Property Search’ and its portals attract over 25 million property seekers every month.
