We are a SPR couple and have a fully paid HDB flat. Would like to upgrade to a condominium after selling the HDB flat. Due to some other commitments, we do have a 90K personal loans from the banks. Hence, the loan amount that we can avail might be impacted? If we are ready to settle that after selling the HDB flat, will the bank be able to lend the loan without considering the existing personal loan? Or we can only avail the home loan after selling the HDB and settle the pending personal loans? If this is the case, I am scared, we cannot sell and buy at the same time?
