I have resigned from job therefore need to leave Singapore. My lease states we can exercise the diplomatic clause if my employment is terminated for any reason whatsoever so I think we are covered but the landlord disagrees. Who is correct?

Morning,

If you employment have being terminated by your employer, which you have no control over, you can exercise the diplomatic clause. But as for your case, you resigned from the employment, which is well within your control. Therefore, the diplomatic clause does not apply here.
