i have a bto coming soon this May. Can i have hle and will it be too late apply hle in order to get the key if the current hdb still not sold. all sale return fund on cpf will then be utilities offset to the bto.

hle with only latest payslip n 15mths contribution will it be enough? as previous payslip already dispose off.

Hi Sir/Mdm,

If your sale proceeds can fully cover the balance purchase price of the BTO, not to worry I can assist to appeal for you to postpone the key collection while concurrently look for a buyer for your unit. For this case, the HDB officer may ask you to look into Temporary Loan facility instead since your plan seems to be redeeming the loan immediately upon the sale of the current flat.

If you are planning to use your sales proceeds to cover for the BTO purchase, then you may actually look into the Temporary Home Loan facility provided by HDB. Have you already received notification to collect the keys? Typically you can apply to defer the key collection date given that your current HDB is still not sold, and can support the application to delay by providing HDB relevant supporting documents and materials to show that you are actively marketing the property.

In the event that you have an exclusive marketing agreement with an agent, you can perhaps look into what has been done so far, what are the issues that is impeding the sale and feedbacks from the ground to find out what you can do as an owner to support the marketing process. In the event that the agent is not performing to task, you may opt to terminate the exclusivity to open up the marketing to other agent(s) in order to expedite your sale.

Hi,

1) I'm surprised you only start to worry now.
2) You will need at least 3 months' payslips for a CPF contribution employment to apply for the HLE.
3) You may request the missing payslips from your HR for the HLE application.
4) You can either put up a request to the HDB to delay the key collection or apply for the temporary loan scheme if eligible.
5) In order to be eligible for the temporary loan scheme, you must have already submitted the resale application for your existing flat.

7) You may also check whether you are eligible for the contra facility so that you could collect your key once your flat is sold.
8) The detail of the contra facility is also available on the link provided in (6).
