I have one condominium unit to rent out.
Needs to advertise in propertyguru. Looking for trial account to advertise the same by myself.
Could u guide me how to open trial account if I am not an agent?

Good morning Mr Umesh Shinde,

I am afraid you can't post your unit on Propertyguru as an owner yourself.

Only subscribed agents are allowed to post listings on Propertyguru.

If you are keen to DIY, probably can try free web portals and spend some money on newspapers advertisements.

If not, you can engage a professional real estate salesperson. I can assist you in finding qualified tenants, handle the tenancy paperwork and take care of your best interest throughout the lease.

Hi Mr Shinde, I'm afraid you can't list your property for rent over here as this portal is more for those paid subscriber. If you are thinking of doing it yourself, you may want to consider newspaper ad as well as free website like Gumtree. Pls feel free to let me know if you need any assistance.

Dear Umesh,

I am unsure if the service fees involved in the rental is a concern for you that you are considering a DIY or do you think that it is plain simple to advertise your unit for rental and get that right tenant?

With the supply of units available for rent in the market, I have to say that it would be a huge challenge to overcome marketing efforts by the professionals with the right tools and network to secure tenants for units where landlords entrust to them with your single advertisement or effort. Just think over this, your 1 unit against the many similar units available in the market in direct competition with you. What are your chances of hitting the right tenant? There is a reason why we are the professionals in the industry therefore if service fees is a concern, maybe we can strike out a win win solution?
