Jalan Damai is a HDB street in the HDB town of Bedok, or the Bedok HDB estate to be precise. With a total population of around 200,000 residents and about a total of 58,000 under it, Bedok has grown to become one of the fastest developing residential areas in Singapore. The modern development of Bedok began only began in 1966 when reclamation works along the coastal area began.
