About 930,000 Singaporean households living in HDB flats will get the next instalment of the GST Voucher – Utilities-Save (U-Save) rebate this month, revealed the Ministry of Finance (MOF) on Monday (1 July). For this year, $300 million worth of U-Save rebates is set to be given out.
A part of the permanent GST Voucher scheme, the U-Save rebate is distributed every three months to help households offset part of their utilities bills.
Those living in one- and two-room flats will receive $100, while those in three-room flats will get $90.
Homeowners living in four-room flats, on the other hand, will receive $80 and those in five-room flats $70.
Meanwhile, households whose members own more than one property are not qualified to receive the U-Save rebate.
