My wife and I are Singaporeans working overseas. We would like to purchase a condo and take a loan with the banks. Can I check if I will be eligible to take a bank loan at the current interest rates or will I be subjected to higher interest rates?

The S&P process needs careful and confident planning in financial, timeline and checklist especially HDB, CPF, bank and lawyer etc. Recently my client 'suddenly' bought a dream condo while 'holding on' to a HDB flat. They needed the extra 'funds' for the condo. Hence, after a series of planning, discussion and deliberation, they finally decided to sell their HDB unit. Engage an agent if you expect a consistent S&P process. The stress relief effort is enormous and the commission is insignificant. Check this site: www.catherinepang.com Read More

Hi Mr. HexHex,
Many of the real estates professioals have provided informations on the rates and I do hope that your questions are answered.

Most have agreed that interest rates are currently at historic low. FED had also announced to keep interest rates low for 2 years, upto 2013. Do you agree that this is a good time to capitalise the now low interest from banks for your property investments?

I do come across on a bank that pay deposits interest that matches with your loan interest for upto two third of your loan disbursement amount. This should ease investors concern on future interest rates hike (if there is any). I can refer the bank to you should you need more information on this. Do email me if you like to know more..

Fyi, our agency have many new developers' launches to suite your property needs for either own stay or for investments. These new launches require only progressive payments.

Feel free to contact me.
