i bought a condo unit in 2012 (currently under construction). Does this mean i only need to hold for 2 more yrs to be eligible for resale. Or 5 yrs holding from top.
If selling price before top could fetch 900k, how much is left after deducting the necessary levies. My total deposit (cpf+cash) was 150k

Hi,

For condo unit, you can sell anytime, just that you will be liable for Seller Stamp Duties if you sell within 4 years of purchase. For your case, since you bought in 2012, it is your 3rd year of holding, hence 8% SSD applies on your sale price if you sell it now.

For the necessary calculations, how should I get in touch so you can have a clearer picture on whether to proceed with the transaction? Thanks and hope to discuss further on your sale plans.

Warm Regards,
