According to ST on 26 Feb 2023:
The 12ha site will comprise a regional sports centre, polyclinic, public library and regional town park, will be located between Lorong 6 Toa Payoh and the Pan-Island Expressway.

The proposed sporting facilities include
sheltered tennis, futsal and netball courts, swimming pools, indoor sports halls, a gymnasium, fitness studios and a football stadium.

There are also plans to house the national training centres for aquatics, netball and table tennis there.

The polyclinic will provide services ranging from regular assessment for healthy child development, to senior services such as frailty screening and health promotion interventions for an ageing population.

“We will continue to rejuvenate our town, so that Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC and Marymount SMC will remain a good home for residents of all ages,” said Senior Minister of State for the Ministry of Finance and Transport Chee Hong Tat, who is also an adviser for the Bishan-Toa Payoh Grassroots Organisations.

Chee added that a running track around the space, as well as sheltered walkways to bus stops, will likely be developed too.
