no electricity when it rains

You need to be lucky. a particular tower have no electricity for days. Not the first time, happens when it rains.
Condo mgmt is incompetent and not responsive.
Buying unit here? Renting unit here? Note the numbers and stay away. If you still want to live, negotiate hard as you will face random 4-5 horror days without electricity in every year whenever it rains. I recommend this building for:

Lovely facilities and landscapes, and the units are very spacious and many with fantastic views of the sea, only if you don't mind that it is an older condo.

Getting old

I lived at a 4 bedroom condo at Bayshore Park for four years. It had an enormous balcony and fantastic sea view, but the highway noise became too much to bear. It was a great place to live years ago, but internally most of the units are old and stale now, and the management are a law unto themselves.
I recommend this building for:

life in a park

Bayshore Park is a very nice place for family. Outdoor very beautiful, green, spacious, nice facilities (tennis, gym, ... even football field !!!), and all near east coast park. I never had problem with management, all people working there have always been very nice with us. My only concern today is that they don t cut the coconuts from the trees that are all around the swimming pools... and all my friends are telling me that it can be very dangerous and in their condo coconuts are cut on a regular basis ... and as last time I saw 1 coconut lying on the ground ... I'm just hoping they will look after this issue soon. Also tables near the swimming pool can be a little bit dirty during the day. Apart that, very easy to book a taxi from Bayshore Park, even the morning (which is very useful) and very very nice place to live and feeling good to get the impression to live in a park in Singapore !

Bayshore Park Warning

Recently the Bayshore park AGM was held. The council has rigged all the votes via proxy and therefore swung all the votes to run the estate they way they see fit. Being already a Police Campus, residents can now look forward to :
No parties or noise around the pool after 11pm
No decorations to be put up for Birthday parties around the pool
No cricket allowed in the condo (even with a tennis ball)
No large dogs
No visitor allowed to bring dogs/bikes/skateboards
CCTV cameras placed in all towers, swimming pool changing areas / gym
Increased security to keep trespassers out and make sure the residents behave
Increased powers for the council and management to use unlimited funds to take legal action against anyone who speaks out or acts against the council
To top it all - there are two property agents sitting on the council - surprise surprise.
I am a resident who has been here for 10 years...it is rapidly declining.
Think before you want to buy or live here - its a nightmare. I recommend this building for: Outdoors & Activities, Families with Children, Peace & Quiet, Luxury & Prestige,

Very Old Condo and Bad Management.

All condos are of poor view.
Guards are very lazy, management is not working well. There is some strange smell everywhere outside, so keep it in mind if you gonna keep your windows open. There is no place to park the car for quests. If car is staying longer than 15 min then you need to pay fine for that. Nobody will warn you that there is such restriction. Pictures of condo itself are much better than in real life. I recommend this building for:

Relaxing Swimming Pool

Very spacious layout and has full condo facilitles but a little dated. The biggest I have seen till date and is self sufficient. Very near the beach and east coast food centre. It's like resort living with much greenary.

Fantastic lifestyle condo

Lived in Bayshore Park for 6 years and haven't found anything better - all factors considered. This project's compound is huge and green, has a good mix of expats and locals, has direct access to the beach, comes with a convenient minimart, laundromat and cafe, and importantly, you don't feel conscious of looking into your neighbors because each tower is so far apart! Also very dog friendly and great for kids to socialize. The airport and Suntec are both 7 mins' drive away.
The interior can be really basic but that's something that can be fixed. I recommend this building for: City Living, Outdoors & Activities, Families with Children, Peace & Quiet and

Lots of greenery and blocks are well spaced apart giving ample room for landscaped gardens and pools. New condominiums lack this kind of spread making Bayshore Park truly a rarity in ever increasingly denser Singapore.

Nice and greenery landscape. Full facilities such as mini mart, wifi network. ... convenient and prestige mix of city and resort living. It is hard to find in other condos.
