Due to declining business, Liang Court (owned by CDL Hospitality Trusts) was sold to Capitaland Ltd and City Developments Ltd in March 2019. In November of the same year, the developers decided to redevelop Liang Court into an integrated development named Canninghill Square. As of July 2021, Liang Court, the once-famous hangout of Japanese expatriates, ceases to exist.
