Punggol Point LRT
Description
Located in the North-East of Singapore, Punggol was once a fishing village occupied largely by Malay settlers. In 2007, Punggol was selected under the Remaking Our Homeland (ROH) programme to establish the vision for Punggol as a waterfront town. In 2010, it was chosen to be developed as Singapore’s first Eco-Town.
The new BTOs will overlook Punggol Jetty, which will provide homeowners with an expansive waterfront view. With the BTO site located right next to Punggol Settlement, new residents can look forward to several scenic dining options. A good number of cafes and restaurants can be found there, all serving up a variety of cuisines. Those who enjoy spending time in the outdoors can also head over to Coney Island nearby.
Families will enjoy access to supermarkets like Fairprice Finest and Sheng Shiong, all of which are just a short bus ride away.
The new BTO site will be situated very close to Punggol Point LRT and Punggol Coast MRT (to be completed in 2023). The proximity to these stations will grant new residents good accessibility to other areas in Punggol and to the rest of Singapore.
