Ask Maya how many properties she owns, and she won’t be able to give an answer immediately. And she hopes the same for her clients. “Investing, when done right, comes with little to no stress. Maya is a vocal proponent and practitioner of real estate investing. She describes it as a safe, long-term strategy rooted in structure — one that takes place in a government-regulated milieu. “And banks are your partners; it’s not every day that banks actually back a financial decision,” she quips. “But when you have a good property buy, and you’re able to finance it, they come on board.”
Creating bespoke portfolios that meet clients’ objectives
Having worked as a senior manager in Fortune 500 companies such as Philip Morris International, Maya possesses the ability to see the big picture and also scrutinise the intricate details. During her tenures, she provided management consultancy and now brings the same analytical and critical thinking to the table.
“What is the client’s risk appetite? What does he want to do with his money? These are the brass tacks that we get down to.” Through understanding her clients’ goals and acting on market insights, Maya makes informed decisions that inch clients closer to the target of year-on-year compound growth.
In 2008, Maya attained her Real Estate Salesperson certification, recognised by Council for Estate Agencies, Singapore. Stepping into the dual role of a financial consultant and property salesperson, she can confidently advise on financial matters and handle legal documents related to real estate buying.
Today, she works with carefully-screened salespersons engaging in residential as well as commercial property sales and leasing.
