resort living in east coast...

location: The Sea View at Amber Road. not seafront but very close to east coast park with the sea (need to stay high level enough to see). resort style living and greenery around the condo. can swim in the many pools (huge) in the condo and pretend you are at sea without all that salt or sand getting stuck everywhere. very comfortable.

The best in the Katong area

Large freehold site, with apartment blocks a reasonable distance away from each other. great and amble facilities and lots of green spaces. apartments have a good squarish layout with rooms away from living and dining areas.

Too many tenanted and co-living units.

AirBNB is illegal but it appears that the estate has too many short-term tenanted-units. There's always strangers checking-in with their luggages.

Spoilt by archaic Resident Committee Rules

Once family friendly but no more. Resident committee determined to ensure no fun can be had by anyone by voting in very restrictive rules. Demand lower rent to make up for what freedom you will lose

Best outdoor space on the East Coast and location is superb. Lacks major appeal for tenants or live-in owners wanting to enjoy the facilities and lifestyle with incredibly stringent rules

peaceful and serene, huge land, plenty of space, beautiful pools, gorgeous landscaping. very convenient location, 10minute bus journey to the central business district, and 10minute stroll to the east coast beach. plenty of nearby restaurants, grocery stores, banks, clinics, shopping malls, all within walking distance

A Gem in District 15

I have seen almost every Condos around this area and I would confidently say that Seaview is a development that stands out the most. The development just feels grand and prestigious and you can feel it right from the moment you enter the guard house. The garden is marvellous and the ponds are clean and well kept. The previous remarks about the various defects have been rectified and the court cases was settled a few years ago. I personally do not see any defects myself. Rarely would you be able to find a development where the buildings are so well spaced apart. I would recommend this development over any others in this area.

I've stayed in several high-end condos in the east, The Seaview is by far top of my favorite. My unit has good view and good breezes, and yah, sea view as well, for real. I'd recommend this place for its wonderful amenities, gardens, pool, and spacious layout. Word of advice though - Do not trust any of the negative comments posted earlier (eg faulty pools, leaking ceilings, damaged flooring, etc), I do not see any of these since I shifted in early-2017, guess the management had those taken care of now.

Gem in the east

Simply amazing! The Sea View is a classy resort style living in the city fringe, plenty of facilities and the gym and pools are never crowded even over weekends. Huge underground car park, huge front entrance that gives visitors a prestigious feel, huge pools, huge landscaping. The place is peaceful, quiet, windy and near to amenities such as markets, schools, malls, hawker center, restaurants, MRT, seaside, library, etc. Don't get fooled by some of the low feedback's between 2010 to 2015. The minor faults have since been rectified and all is now GREAT! Do take a look around this area and compare nearby projects, you will agree that The Sea View feels much more luxurious, spacious and prestigious, best of all , it is FREEHOLD with a relatively low plot ratio

This is a freehold condo with a huge plot, 5 large swimming pools, 2 tennis courts, basketball court, playgrounds, plenty of landscaping. Such a layout means a large portion of the land is under-utilised; ask any developers, they will tell you this translates to a great potential for future enbloc. Adding to the value is the upcoming MRT station at doorstep, few minutes walk to Parkway Parade, East Coast Park, Marine Parade hawker, Katong Village, Library, Cinema, NTUC mart, famous schools such as Tao Nan. The location is also well connected via ECP and MCE, The bus journey to Suntec Cityhall takes only 10min via expressway.
