Project Details
Meyer Mansion is a 200-unit freehold luxury condominium development by Guocoland in District 15.
Located along Meyer Road, the residential development’s distinctive façade features dark brown steel and burnished copper gold screens, making it instantly recognisable from afar.
Besides its bold yet understated modern design, what makes Meyer Mansion even more iconic is the fact that it is a seafront luxury condo in the East Coast, something that few condo developments can claim as part of its accolade.
The inspiration for Meyer Mansion is to design it as a seafront luxury condo, which stems from its history and site context. In the past, many grand mansions were built along the East Coast where the wealthy had privileged access to the beach. The developer wanted to make the privilege of taking a stroll at the beach become an everyday luxury for the residents, just like how it used to be for the wealthy.
Apart from the promise of luxury living, Meyer Mansion also ranks highly on its unparalleled location. By 2023, The future Katong Park MRT on the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) will be a mere 8-minute walk away, connecting residents to the Marina Bay area in just five MRT stops.
Residents who drive will also find Meyer Mansion’s location well connected; The East Coast Parkway (ECP) will open the doorway for your travel to both the Central Business District (CBD) as well as Changi Airport.
Meyer Mansion: Developer
Meyer Mansion is a luxury condo development by renowned luxury developer, Guocoland. From developments like Martin Modern, Midtown Bay to Wallich Residence, Guocoland has been consistently delivering luxury private residences to homebuyers for many years.
The developer has also bagged a host of awards and accolades for its outstanding portfolio; in 2019 alone, the developer won the 2019 Urban Land Institute (ULI) Global Awards for Excellence for Guoco Tower and Best Luxury Condo Architectural Design Category for Martin Modern, a luxury residential project in District 9 that sits strategically in Robertson Quay.
Last but not least, GuocoLand also won “Best Luxury Condo Architectural Design (Singapore)” for Martin Modern at the 2019 PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards. The same project was also nominated for other projects including “Best Luxury Condo Development (Singapore)”, Best Luxury “Condo Development (Singapore)” and “Best Luxury Condo Interior Design (Singapore)”, among others.
Given Guocoland’s strong track record and reputation as a developer of luxury condo developments, homebuyers can expect them to deliver another splendid development in Meyer Mansion.
Meyer Mansion: Design
Meyer Mansion 3-bedroom (Type C1, 1,109 sq ft) review
The 3-bedroom showflat unit (type C2) at Meyer Mansion comes with an open kitchen concept. This is uncommon for 3-bedroom units given that there is ample of space for a separate kitchen area. For those who prefer an open kitchen concept, it does give the living room area a much more spacious look and feel.
Another thing to like about the design is that the fitted cabinet fully utilises the space in your home. There is plenty of storage space above the built-in cabinets along the corridor as you enter your home. Note that one of the cabinet spaces is also used to hide your electrical appliances like your washing machine/dryer.
The intricate design stemming from the developer’s attention to detail is also something we love about Meyer Mansion. If you noticed, the balcony area does not come with any drainage. That’s because the drainage happens underneath the tiles of the balcony. There are small gaps in between the tiles on the balcony that acts as a drainage system during the rainy season.
Another intricate design that we like about the Meyer Mansion unit is that the developer made sure to keep the flooring of the indoor and balcony area level. This allows you to better leverage the space in your balcony. For instance, when you are hosting guests, you can set up a table between your living room and the balcony as a dining area.
Meyer Mansion: 4-bedroom premium (Type D2, 1,765 sq ft) review
The 4-bedroom premium (type D2) unit is the most expensive unit of Meyer Mansion, with good reason: The 4-bedroom unit is not only spacious, but it also comes with the best premium fittings.
The first thing that you will notice about the 4-bedroom unit is that each unit comes fitted with your own private lift. For privacy, each keycard is programmed to access specific floors (just like a hotel) Thus, you don’t have to worry about someone else entering your home while you are on a holiday.
The other thing that you should note is that each of the two balconies of the 4-bedroom premium units offers great views. The balcony beside the living area comes with a seafront view that will make you the envy of your guests.
On the other balcony beside the kitchen, you can enjoy the landed view of the surrounding landed area around Meyer Road.
The kitchen of the 4-bedroom premium unit also comes with a user-centric design to match the luxury living concept. The kitchen is split into a dry kitchen (left) and wet kitchen (right). The dry kitchen area comes with an induction stove for simple cooking while the wet kitchen comes with a gas stove for more ‘zichar’-style dishes.
Each kitchen area is also equipped with a fridge. The fridge in the dry kitchen can be used for chilling drinks for guests while the one in the wet kitchen can be used for storing food.
The developer also made sure to fit the bathroom with luxury fittings like natural marble flooring and renowned brands (Duravit, Hansgrohe, Liebherr) for kitchen and sanitary fittings to ensure that the sense of luxury runs throughout the home.
Meyer Mansion: Site plan
Meyer Mansion is situated in between Meyer Road and the East Coast Park. It is nestled amongst a private residential enclave of condominiums and low-rise landed houses. Its rare location combines the laid-back charm of the East Coast whilst being perched right at the edge of the city.
Meyer Mansion: Facilities
Facilities wise, Meyer Mansion has everything to offer that a luxury condo ought to provide. One of the standout points for Meyer Mansion is the grand lawn feature that sets it apart from other luxury condo developments. That’s because not many luxury condo developments offer an open area for residents to enjoy, especially when you consider how valuable the land is where Meyer Mansion sits.

Location
Meyer Mansion’s location is definitely a unique selling point.
Few condo developments have the privilege of staying right next to East Coast Park. Residents have the bragging rights of a “private” beach that’s just a stone’s throw away.
Secondly, the condo offers unblocked views of the greenery, sea, and city — another luxury that only a condo of this calibre can provide.
For units facing Meyer Road, residents can enjoy the view of the surrounding landed enclave. The best view of the surrounding landed enclave is offered to those who stay from the 10th floor onwards. For those staying below the 10th floor, the view will be partially obscured by the neighbouring homes.
Meanwhile, for units facing East Coast Park, residents can enjoy views of the sea and beach.
Obviously, the view is even better for units on higher floors (i.e. 15th floor and above) residents will enjoy unblocked views of the surrounding without the obscurity of the vegetation around East Coast Park.
If you can’t choose between the landed view and the sea view, then the 4-bedroom unit is your best bet; you can relish both the landed and sea views from your balcony.
In addition, some of the 3-bedroom premium units can also enjoy the view towards the Marina Bay Area where you can see Marina Bay Sands and the Marina area right from your home.
Lastly, Meyer Mansion is strategically located at the fringe of the city with seamless connection to major road networks such as the ECP and Marina Coastal Expressway (MCE).
At the same time, you get to avoid the crowded and busy CBD when you are away from work. Staying at Meyer Mansion gives you the best of both worlds of convenience and the serenity of living right next to nature.
Meyer Mansion: Accessibility
Those who are looking to buy Meyer Mansion can rest assured about its accessibility; that’s because Meyer Mansion is located right next to the ECP.
With both the ECP and MCE at your doorstep, you are a short drive (11 minutes) away from the downtown core. You also have the choice of driving into the CBD via Nicoll Highway, which is only 14 minutes away. The only downside of living is that you are living pretty close to the ECP which can be a source of road noise.
Currently, the nearest MRT station is Mountbatten MRT station on the Circle Line (CCL). However, the Katong Park MRT on the TEL is slated to be completed by 2023, which coincides with Meyer Mansion’s TOP date. By then, the new MRT station will be within 700m from your residence.
It takes an 8-minute walk to reach the future Katong Park MRT, while it’s four stops away by bus .
Once the Katong Park MRT is fully operational, you can travel to the Marina Bay area directly on the TEL or via interchanges like Marina Bay if you need to travel to the CBD.

Meyer Mansion: Marine Parade URA Master Plan
One of the key selling points of the Meyer Mansion is its proximity to East Coast Park. According to the URA Master Plan, East Coast Park will continue to stay as a reserve site in the medium term.
In terms of future development, homebuyers should take note of the upcoming development in the area around Kallang.
As part of the government’s effort to inject vibrancy into the area, six developments will be built to complement the Singapore Sports Hub. These developments include multiple sports complex such as a Youth Hub, Kallang Football Hub, Singapore Tennis Centre, Benaan Kapal Green and Alive Gateway and Loop.
The whole project, known as Kallang Alive, will create a sport and recreation-centric space for both the young and the old. It will also add a vibrant, inclusive and diverse community park for residents of all ages to come together and enjoy sports together.
Given that Meyer Mansion is within close proximity to Kallang, residents of Meyer Mansion will be able to enjoy the benefits of the Kallang Alive project when it’s ready in 2025. Kallang Alive will further add to the desirability of the Meyer Mansion as a well-connected residence.
Summary
Meyer Mansion is a luxury project that is designed for luxury living with the privilege of having the beach within walking distance from your residence. It offers a living experience that few condo developments can match.
Located in an unparalleled position, residents have the benefit of living close to the city while still able to enjoy the tranquility of nature at your own pace. The development is well connected to the upcoming TELas well as the city via ECP and MCE.
