Singapore's leading property site links up with the World's leading social media site
PropertyGuru.com.sg has become the first property portal in Asia to integrate Facebook, the world's number one social networking site with over 400 million active users into its business. Already, 4,000 of PropertyGuru's real estate agent members are using this service.
PropertyGuru's real estate agent members can automatically share their listings via Facebook 'free of charge' and in addition to their exposure on PropertyGuru, their personal website, eBay, Mocca and PropertyBuyer magazine.
Property hunters who are Facebook users will now be updated real time on new listings posted by PropertyGuru's real estate agent members, and can contact agents directly from individual listings on Facebook. Consumers can also use PropertyGuru's full interactive map search right on Facebook.
"We're excited about this latest service. The response from our agent members has been tremendous with 25 percent adopting it in the first 2 weeks of launch. PropertyGuru has witnessed an exciting H1 with traffic to the website increasing by almost 50 percent in just the last three months according to Experian Hitwise Singapore (www.experian.com.sg). There have also been recent wins in new product launches such as the iPhone application which has seen more than 40,000 downloads the first month of its launch. The company also recently released results of a property sentiment survey which garnered huge media attention, covered by The Business Times, Channel News Asia, Capital 95.8fm, Berita Harian, Shin Min Daily News and The Edge.
