I plan to sell my 4A HDB. May I know the charging of the agent's commission fee? 1% or 2%?

Hi,
I agree with Mr Bernard Lau.
Interview the agents that will be helping you with your real estate needs. Hire him based on what he is worth. The most important thing to look out for is to determine if he can meet your expectations.
Another point of perspective, if the agent cannot even secure his rice bowl, how confident would he be in securing the best price for your unit.
I am not saying that agents who take less, give you lousier service. There are also good agents who accept lower commissions but gives outstanding service. I am telling you to take your time and choose. You will have to find the right person if you want to have a good deal.
I charge 2%.

The S&P process needs careful and confident planning with HDB, CPF, bank and lawyer etc. Recently my client 'suddently' bought a dream condo while 'holding on' to a HDB flat. They needed the extra 'funds' for the condo. Hence, after a series of planning, discussion and deliberation, they finally decided to sell their HDB unit. If you want a consistent S&P process, call us if you need an opinion. The relief is enormous and the commission is insignificant. Check this site: www.catherinepang.com
