Dear all. I'm a serious buyer. The seller back out and intend NOT sell his unit to me, 2weeks after our 1st apptmt. But i saw his agent advertised again intend to sell that unit with higher selling price. I had paid $5k deposit and valuation report fee $200 in all. I'm currently renting a unit with my family of 8 members and only sole breadwinner. With this case, i had to extend my rental which was uncalled for till i got a new flat to purchase and rental fee cost me a bomb ($3.5k/mth ) Can i take legal action against the seller.? How to recover back all monies that i had put in a.s.a.p and can they compensate back all financial losses? eg 1:renting fee extension 3-4 month est.($14k) eg 2:Higher cov for my new purchase flat and others. All my plans especially financial has been screwed up by them and they must responsible for this.. Pls advice. ( Stressed Jacky )

Hi! I am super interested to buy a 4/5 room unit in Centrale 8 (DBSS). Unfortunately I am unable to form a family nucleus with my mama as she had utilized the HDB quota. I had previously appealed to HDB and it was obviously rejected. Any advice here? Thanks much

Hi, We own a resale 4A HDB flat in Tampines, just fully paid and met the MOP. We wanted to downgrade to a new 3 room flat under DBSS Central 8. But, we have exceed the income ceiling, is it advisable to lower our income just to buy a new flat? In fact, the whole idea is to cash out from my current flat and resale 3 room is not our ideal option as it may left with 70yrs lease if we wanted a unit in Tampines.

Hi all gurus, I had sold my property and buyer had excercised the option (lawyer letter received and Caveat lodged from SLA letter Received) but there's still 1 month 8 weeks away from completion. Am I safe to book a unit from new launch now or shall I wait for full completion with the risk of choice unit being taken? Personally I would like to be more safe than sorry.

We currently got a private condo and it's still under mortgage. If we hope to invest in another small studio or apartment (budget around $600k), how much cash/CPF do we need to prepare to the down payment? What are the time phrase that we need to clear the require payment (e.g. 8 weeks after confirmation or etc...)? I'm hoping to buy the apartment solely (100%) under my fiancée but she doesn't earn much under IRAS ($30k/yr), she is also the co-owner of my current condo but she has a very clean credit history. Do you think the bank will be able to approve her mortgage loan? Can I be her guarantor in this situation? Lastly, if we are looking at an apartment to invest around $600k. What is the likely stamp duty fee that we have to set aside and do we need to pay this amount upon purchasing this unit or we can wait till the apartment is almost TOP? Thank you in advance
