Open Question
I bought a condo which has an open kitchen concept and I just realised the kitchen does not have a window. given that my helper cooks (not heavy duty deep drying but some stir fry dishes), I wonder what are the options or workaround availabel to ensure that the cooking smell is limited or contained within the kitchen ? The kitchen comes with induction cooker and hood. would enclosing partial with glass helps ?

So you're a food gourmet. No offence if I sounds pessimistic ( coz we're foodies aren't we ? )

a) Condo wet kitchen are not meant to withstand heavy-cooking, hence the induction cooker/hood.

b) U may consider to install floor mounted chinese-styled burner for better 'wok-hei' effect, bringing out the flavour better as compared to table mounted burner.

c) Installing enclosing window glass help in some cases, but not much as the oil-stained of cooking may lingers on like curry and stir-fried items.

The abve is juz my thought, U may need to seek condo management for approval for glass installation within the kitchen.

Lastly, you will not anticipate such problem is you have bought a landed pty.

happy cooking !!

p/s : Are U cooking curry this week? I bring baguette -; )
