Looking for a property in the East, preferably Bedok South/Central, Siglap, East Coast area. We are first timers and are contemplating between resale or private. Is it better to get a private property now? Thanks.

Each has its pros and cons. Will need to understand your requirements (such as if you need any particular amenities/facilities, using it for investment or to stay, even looking into the longer term such as if it is within the radius of any particular schools that you like for your children now or later, etc.) before I can advise and do some financial explanation for you.
