Recently I placed 1% deposit for one house that I like, after that, agent just passed me the inventory list together with the Option to Purchase. when we requested viewing before exercising the Option to Purchase, the agent kept saying the owner has no time. Is it common? and whether there is any way to get the 1% depoist back if I am not happy with the agent? If i continue with the transaction, how can I ensure tt whatever I will get at the completion date is what I saw during my 1st viewing? Appreciate your help.

Some owner do not like to be disturb after they sell. You'll have to respect their privacy in this aspect. Ask your lawyer to request for a final inspection before completion. Bring along the inventory list for verification. Read More
