I have acquired a HDB on Nov 2009 using bank loan. And on July 2010, l have bought a condo for investment property. Does the recent government housing ruling affect me?

Hi,

Regard to your question. It not affected yours as it done it before the new rule. It only affected on those who buy it on 30 Aug 2010.

Hi Chris,

The answer to your question lies in the mode of financing of the condo.

Otherwise, if you had exercised your option and taken a loan then the latest ruling would not affect you.

My suggestion is to speak to your banker to clarify.

I shall be pleased to assist should you have any further queries.

Best regards,

Oliver
