What is your concern in asking this question? Are you timing yourself to buy or sell in Hougang?
What we are looking at is the HDB resale market therefore demand will definitely be there. In my opinion, after the latest regulations released by the government, I feel that it looks good for existing HDB owners. As for buying sentiments, I believe the number of serious buyers will not decrease due to the recent measures released, therefore the resale HDB market should still be very vibrant. If you are interested to know how I derive in my opinion, feel free to call me for discussion.
As for the market vibrancy in October to December period, it maybe mixed since traditionally, most families will make use of the school holiday period to go overseas for their annual holidays. Still, if buyers are out there looking to buy their dream homes, I would say that market will still be vibrant.
