Hey, I'm a foreigner on a EP and looking to buy/invest into a property (pte apartment or condo) with a budget of SG$600 K. I am not too familiar with the property market in Singapore therefore, I have two queries I would like to pose. 1) Whether this is the right time to be investing? As I heard property prices are forecasted to be falling in the foreseeable future. 2) Which area(s) should have a maximum capital gain on the investment? I've been recommended to look with district 15/16 and the Yishun area. I do realize these are very basic/general questions although I would appreciate some insight in the property market. I'm a foreigner (Singapore PR) and looking to buy a condo property. - Budget of SG$600 K +/- - I am open to location however prefer area with sea view or like Yishun with low cost. - Prefer a new property with second preference of 5 Years property - Area of 1,000 + sqft - Prefer 3 Bedrooms - Future wife prefers a balcony (Small but still wish we can have one) .. For any given price what is the min payment i have to put down as down payment. What is the agent fees. What bank loan is the best for me with min payment/month. Would appreciate your reply. My husband and I have a total household monthly income of $9000+. Our current house is a 5 rm resale hdb unit in yishun. We bought it at 310K. and by now, we 've already serviced around 250K with CPF. Would we be able to afford a maisionette in Toh Yi? We do not have much cash at hand, max. about 10k, so we are looking for a unit with minimum cash required as well. So what are our options? Can we possibly afford in the above mentioned area?
