Hi I am currently looking to make a investment. Would like to purchase a freehold condo around novena, newton or orchard areas. Condo should have full facilities and it should be as new as possible or have not been TOP. Hi, I have just moved (single male) to Singapore from Ireland for minimum 2 years. Firstly I would like to know what percentage of my salary I should be prepared to use on rent if my basic salary is SGD161k. I am interested in units in VIDA or similar modern blocks, with views, gyms and swimming pools. Would rather not pay over 3k per month - preferably around 2.7k. I like Robertson/Clarke/Newton etc. and would ike to stay near MRT. Would really appreciate any help. Anxious to move in as soon as possible as starting new job soon. Thanks, REM
