I am considering to buy a unit (1066 sq ft in ris grandeur) 2 + study rm. I have saw a few unit in the high flr & I found that quite scaring that the balconey is a bit too low for the kids & also can't really see the poolview unless u step out to the balconey. Do u think is it adviseable if I buy a unit on the lower flr (example: 3 or 4 flr) as it feel more like a resort?

I am not approved for HDB concessionary loan. Only resort is to get a Bank Loan. My CPF ordinary around 130K, income 3.5K. I have around 20K in debt and repaying constantly without fault, and a car loan of 650/mth. Looking at the COV and 5%deposit in cash nowadays, my dream of securing my own HDB is getting slimer by the days. What is my chances in securing a loan? How do I go about purchasing my own HDB even though I have sufficient CPF and monthly contribution? Appreciate any good advice. Thanks.

Hi, I am keen to buy a condo unit in D21, which is ~$1.3M. I plan to finance it with a 80% bank mortgage, and use my CPF OA to reduce the 20% downpayment required. The issue is that I have a cash shortfall of ~$50-60k in Dec 10, in order to meet the downpayment schedule. Do you have any financing strategies to suggest to cover this shortfall? The interest rate on a personal loan is extremely high (>10%) and I am reluctant to resort to this. Appreciate any tips or advice.
