Hi I am a Singapore citizen looking for my first house to buy and I am very keen, after much house-hunting, to buy a unit at Cambridge Road. Problem is indian quota is full (when the price is right and location is good, there is this problem!). I am thinking of buying a Condo unit. Prefer the East. Is this a good time as prices seem to be falling, so should i wait a bit? Areawise, I am looking at some niche quality - Katong (good schools and beach), Simei (proximity to Changi Business Park) or Bedok Reservoir (lake). Any comments on this?

I am currently renting a fairly large (1300sq.ft) 1 bedroom apartment in Nanak Mansions on Meyer Road. Rent $3000/mth. Looking to find a new place to move in November 1st. Looking for 1 or 2 bedroom place, can be smaller than 1300sq.ft paying approx $2500 inclusive bills. Would like to stay in current area but can look at Siglap or other areas if necessary. Please advise.

I am looking for a single room at a hdb flat. My budget is less than $400 which must come with light cooking for example : making maggi noodles/milo etc. Toilet must have water heater, must able to use their washing machine. Aircon not necessary. And all this within the $400 itself inclusive the pub bills. For internet, since am having a laptop, which supports wifi. so preferred internet, rates for that, can negotiate. is it possible to put a tv in my room? without scv of course. my workplace at tannery lane, mc pherson, near aljuneid park. so prefer aljunied area.
