Any update on the Horizon Towers en bloc - I understand there was supposed to be another hearing on June 3 2008?

We're currently at the midst of relocating to Singapore no sooner than early week of March. * We're looking at the older spacious apartments by Grange Road/Leonie Hill if possible with at least a swimming pool and gym. * Fully furnished 2 bedrooms condominium and ready for immediate move-in (with electricity) as soon as we reached Singapore. * Location preferred : Grangeford Apartment, Horizon Towers or equivalent. Close proximity to walk to Scotts Road. * Rental budget: $3K/monthly. * Lease Period preferred: 1-2years We will be landing at midnight SG time, and would love to move in on the same day, not sure if anyone could do immediate move in as soon as we arrived, instead of spending a day in the hotel. Would it be acceptable? Therefore, before we arrived, we need someone to present us with any possible vacancy and a visual idea of the home.

Is it wise to buy Horizon Towers now that the en-bloc has failed? Does this cause a problem for future en-bloc? I have a budget of $2m and I would like to invets in D9 property above 2000sf 4br. Any suggestions?

Hi, I have a question regarding the plot ratio for Horizon Tower. According the Masterplan 2008, it looks like it should be 2.8, but I have seen others who say it is 3.1 or 3.28. Does anyone know what it is? Thank you.

Hi Gurus, I was reading the proposed amendment to en-bloc sales of FH properties with interest. 1) Is this limited to Districts 9,10,11 properties only? 2) Is there a cut-off time as to which properties are affected? Eg. Are Willyn Ville, Tulip Garden, Spanish Village, Sommerville, Gallop Gables in the Holland area and Normanton Park near Science Park and Laguna Park, Mandarin Gardens in the East and Horizon Towers(after the fiasco) affected? 3) How do the rules affect en-bloc sales of 99-yr properties and FH cluster and town housing?
