Good morning, I would have some informations about renting a flat in Singapour. Indeed I may be expat from my company but I may take a personal lease : - How much is the stamp duty for a flat between S$3000 & S$ 4000 ? should it be paid only once or every year ? - How much is your agency commission ? - How much is the average monthly maintenance charge (for a rent max S$4000)? - Most of your proposals for renting are partially or fully furnished ? I am a US expat and will move from Tokyo to Singapore in January. I am looking to buy a condo/apartment with a very good water view (preferably up high) with relatively easy access to downtown. I heard about One North Bridge Road and East Coast. I am a motivated buyer and will be coming to Singapore Nov. 5 to 7 to find a place. I move in January 2009. Any nice/new properties with good ocean/water view and realistic 5-7% return. What are areas you would recommend? What are approximately amounts for 2-4 bedroom (1-5 year old units)? Also, what % down would be expected?

We are a Swiss family with two children (8 and 10), and I have been offered a job with our Singapore branch as an expat for at least two years. The idea would be to move to Singapore in July. The kids will attend the Swiss School in Singapore in August. We would like to live somewhere in the vicinity of the Swiss School. We are calculating with S$ 7'000-9'000 for housing per month. Is it possible to get a decent bungalow/townhose/clusterhouse with 5 bedrooms for this price in District 21? If not, what kind of condo do you get ? Hi iam interested to buy an apartment in Distrin D9-D10 not older than 2-3 years. Budget is 1-1.5 mil.But i would prefer apartment which will be easily rentalable and cash flow positive. Alternatively please suggest any other location which is also prime and easy rentable preferably to expats.
