I am seeking a place for myself to live in with a tight budget. I believe property prices will drop in 2009/10 with this bad economy. I am looking for 845sqft/2 bedroom unit in The Midas at geylang lor 30 for around $340k-$370k. I will have time to wait for making my deal, especially in this bad times is a good chance to seize good sell price from others. Any interested agent or seller can inform me.

What is the PSF rate for buildings in changi nowadays like? Ive got a building in that area which ive been trying to rent out at less then 1psf, but due to the economy now i have to review its pricing so i needed some guidelines... Here's some info on the building: Its near changi village but its on a side road up the hill. Its condition is old but can be done up with some minor touch up. Some pictures of it can be seen at http://www.Goldkist.Sg/Changi/ Thanks & Regards, Arvas

I am interested in a 1141sqf unit. However, the asking price is $780K range and my budget is only $720K due to the valuation reference in this website is ~$670K. I am willing to increase my budget to $780K (since everyone asking for $760K to $900K range) to be able to get the unit. However, when i asked around in my company, all of them are against me doing this as they all claimed that it is not worth to get a L99 unit at buangkok location at this price. They advised me to wait further as the economy looked like will still remained bleak in Q309. Or use the $ to get other developments. Can i check with you, should I increase my budget? Is it a worthwhile purchase? (I am not getting for investments, for home stay.)

Hi all, I am a 21 yr old single guy interested to find out more about investing in properties. I am anticipating that the property market in singapore will boom with the improving economy as well as the upcoming IR. With only about 20k in cash and monthly earnings of about 2.5k(will be up to about 4.5 in a year's time), is it impossible for me to invest in any property now? Or is there actually a feasible plan that any kind soul out there wil be willing to work out for me? I really don't want to miss out on this opportunity. Thanks.

I have been offered three kinds of rates at which banks are pegging their interest rate. SIBOR, SOR and Bank Board Lending Rate. Can someone tell me, the pros and cons of each of these three indices. And implication of each of these indices in scenario of an economy that is a) still going down for year, b) stagnant at current rates for a year, c) starts moving upwards in two to three months from now.
